Day 1
Arrival to Istanbul airport meet our representaive and transfer to your hotel for overnight
DAY 2 ISTANBUL / ANKARA / CAPPADOCIA
Transfer from your hotel to Ataturk Airport. Flight to Ankara Tour starts the morning from the Hotel or from the airport. Visit the Hittite Museum and Mausoleum of Atatürk. After lunch drive to Cappadocia. Dinner & overnight (L,D).
DAY 3 CAPPADOCIA
Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to teh underground city of Kaymaklı & Citadel of Uçhisar. After lunch continue with the valley of "Göreme" & open air museum. The last sites will be Paşabağ valley and Avanos. Return to hotel for dinner & overnight (B,L,D).
DAY 4 CAPPADOCIA / KONYA / PAMUKKALE
Early departure for Konya. On the way visit the 13 th century Seljukian caravanseria "Sultanhan". The next stop will be Konya which is famous with Mevlana Museum and the Theological Scholl of Whirling Dervishes.Lunch enroute, drive to Pamukkale (B,L,D,).
DAY 5 PAMUKKALE / KUŞADASI
Breakfast and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. The ruins of the biggest Necropolis Graveyard of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Bazilica and calcium cliffs. Drive to Aphrodisias. After lunch visit the Greco-Romen settlement which is remarkably well preserved. The ancient city is dedicated to the Godess of Love, Aphrodite. Drive to Kuşadası, dinner and overnight (B,L,D).
DAY 6 KUŞADASI / IZMIR / ISTANBUL
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Meryemana and visit the House of Virgin Mary. Continue to Ephesus, the Romen Capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the temple of Hadrian, the magnificient library, Agora and fantastic greco-roman theatre. After lunch visit the Basilica of St.John drive to İzmir and Transfer to the Hotels or airport (B,L) Flight to Istanbul and transfer to your hotel.
Day 7 Full Day Istanbul
we will visit; HIPPODROME; the scene of chariot races and the center of Byzantine civic life, stood in the area that now fronts of the Blue Mosque. The monuments which once decorated it only four remain: The Obelisk of Theodosius, The bronze Serpentine Column, The Costantine Column and Germains Fountain of Wilhelm II / BLUE MOSQUE; facing Hagia Sophia, famous with its blue Iznik tiles and unique with 6 minarets, built between 1609 and 1616 in the name of Sultan Ahmet I by Sedefkar Mehmet Ağa, Who was one of Sinan’s apprentices. / ST. SOPHIA ( Hagia Sophia ); one of the greatest marvels of architecture, constructed as a basilica in the 6th century by Emperor Justinian. It has been nominated as the 8th wonder of the world by historians. / TOPKAPI PALACE; Imperial residence of Ottoman Sultans, the maze of buildings that was the focal point of the Ottoman Empire between the 15th and 19th centuries. In these opulent surroundings the sultans and their court lived and governed. A magnificent wooded garden fills the outer, or first, court. In the second court, on theright, shaded by cypress and plane trees, stand the palace kitchens, which now serve as galleries exhibiting the imperial collections of crystal, silver and Chinese porcelain. Today the third court holds the Hall of Audience, the Library of Ahmet III, an exhibition of imperial costumes worn by the sultans and their families, the famous jewels ofthe treasury and a priceless collection of miniatures from medieval manuscripts. In the center of this innermost sanctuary, the Pavilion of the Holy Mantle enshrines the relics of the Prophet Muhammet (s.a.v.) brought to Istanbul when the Ottomans assumed the caliphate of Islam. ( INC. TREASURY DEPARTMENT ). Last Stop at the GRAND BAZAAR; Most attractive shopping center and biggest "souk" in the world with nearly 4000 shops selling antiques, jewelry, gold, carpets, leatherwear and souvenirs.
Day 8 transfer to the airport for departure
